Just recently, the Arasaka Tower in Night City was attacked for a second time! The main suspect behind this attack is known as “V”. According to reports, she raided the tower alone. Rumours suggest that she has a digital copy (construct) of Johnny Silverhand in her head, which may have been the motive behind the attack. The assault caused significant damage to Arasaka, and many people in the area were shocked by the gunfire. Corpo Plaza is now in lockdown and under investigation by the NCPD.
On August 20, 2023, Arasaka Tower was also attacked by a terrorist known as Johnny Silverhand, who led a raid on the building with his group. V’s attack took place on December 17, 2077, and was extremely brutal. Witnesses claim that V crashed through a wall of the tower and violently eliminated anyone who stood in her way. Eventually, she encountered the bodyguard of Yorinobu and Saburo Arasaka, Adam Smasher. Adam Smasher is considered nearly invincible due to the vast amount of cyberware implanted in his body. He was also responsible for killing the Night City legend David Martinez. V reportedly used several illegal cyberware implants during the raid. Cyberware consists of cybernetic implants that enhance a person’s physical and mental capabilities. Residents nearby reported hearing a massive explosion and intense gunfire during the night. Corpo Plaza remains under lockdown while the NCPD continues its investigation. As a result, residents are unable to leave the area, causing frustration among those affected.
The construct is reportedly taking over V’s brain and body by rewriting her neural pathways. This process could eventually kill her. It is believed that she is attempting to reach a place called “Mikoshi”, located beneath Arasaka Tower. Arasaka has remained silent about Mikoshi and its purpose. V is still wanted by the NCPD (Night City Police Department). Although authorities are aware of her location, reports suggest that she is currently carrying out her “last job” aboard the Crystal Palace space station.
